ALLTECH EXPANDS BREAKFAST PROGRAMS AT EMPIRE FARM DAYS

            ( East Syracuse , NY )  A breakfast program for dairy producers attending Empire Farms Days will be offered on both Tuesday, Aug. 5 and Wednesday, Aug. 6 at the Northeast’s largest outdoor farm show in Seneca Falls , NY .  The meal and an important speaker are sponsored by Alltech, according to Joel Hastings, publisher of Northeast DairyBusiness magazine, which organizes the Dairy Profit Seminars at the show.     

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. each morning, a continental breakfast will be served followed by a presentation by Tom Lorenzen of Alltech entitled “Bottlenecks to Efficiency – case studies for finding profit on the dairy.” 

            The breakfast and program will be offered at the Dairy Seminar Center on the show grounds located between East Make-A-Buck Avenue and East Seneca Acres Avenue.

Lorenzen has significant experience in the areas of dairy nutrition, udder health and sanitation, and milking equipment and will present information gleaned from performing audits of dairy operations where he looks for non-nutritional bottlenecks that may affect quality milk production and performance.
