LUTZ RESIGNS FROM STAFF OF JERSEY MARKETING SERVICE

Reynoldsburg, Ohio, July 31, 2008—Herby D. Lutz, manager of Jersey Marketing Service (JMS) since September 1, 2001, has announced his resignation effective August 31, 2008 to accept a position with the Semex Alliance.

“We have been pleased to have Herby’s services as JMS manager for the last seven years,” commented Neal Smith, Chief Executive Officer of parent company, National All-Jersey Inc. “He is totally dedicated to Jersey breed progress, has strong knowledge of breed history, a wealth of cow knowledge and outstanding people skills.”

“By drawing upon all of those abilities, Herby has taken the business of Jersey Marketing Service to new heights.”

In 2007, Jersey Marketing Service reported revenues from sale management services of US$ 13,089,073, an increase of 42% over the previous year. JMS staff assisted 36 buyers from 14 states in purchasing 3,129 animals and embryos from 76 different sellers. The company also managed 20 public auctions, selling 2,953 lots for just over $6.6 million. The All American Jersey Sale on November 4 in Louisville, Ky., was the year’s top auction sale, averaging $5,345.18 on 109 lots.

“Herby also built a great team of people working for Jersey Marketing Service,” Smith continued. “They have all the ability and skill to step up to the challenge of serving the needs of private treaty buyers and also managing 11 auction sales from September through early November including our premier event, The All American Jersey Sale in Louisville, Ky.”

Lutz will become the Jersey sire analyst and Jersey product support specialist for Semex starting September 1. His responsibilities will include Jersey sire procurement for the United States and Canada, as well as promoting the company’s Jersey and component breed product lines to customers and international sales network.

“We sincerely congratulate him on this great new opportunity in his professional career,” Smith said. “While we regret his departure, we are very pleased that Herby is staying in the dairy industry working with Jerseys.”

“The search for his successor begins immediately,” added the Jersey CEO.
