LEADERSHIP NAMED FOR THE 57th ALL AMERICAN JERSEY SHOW & SALE  

Reynoldsburg, Ohio, November 21, 2008—The team of Jersey breeders who will lead The 57th All American Jersey Show & Sale were announced today by the general chairman for 2009, Craig Rhein, Pine Grove, Penna.  

An annual production of the American Jersey Cattle Association, the All American is held in conjunction with the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Ky. More than 100 Jersey breeders and enthusiasts from across the country donate their services to planning and staging the three shows, two sales and youth awards banquet that make up the most exciting weekend of dairy breed promotion in the world.  

James VanBuskirk of Carleton, Mich., will chair the Sale Committee, succeeding James S. Huffard III, Crockett, Va., who will serve as the 2009 associate general chairman. The 2009 associate chair for the sale committee will be Michael Fremstad, Westby, Wis.  

Chair of the Open Show Committee will be Charles F. Luchsinger, Syracuse, N.Y. Named associate chair for 2009 was Josh Gordon, Warsaw, Ind.  

Merna Fremstad, Westby, Wis., will chair the meeting of the Junior Activities Committee, with Bridgette Lutz, Lincolnton, N.C., serving as the associate chair. Also serving on this committee will be the 2008 National Jersey Queen, Kristin Hogan of Tillamook, Ore.  

The National Jersey Jug Futurity Committee will be led by Darlene Williams, McConnelsville, Ohio. Amanda Lutz, Chester, S.C., is the associate chair.
